About RendSafe
HISTORY: The MineBurner
Since "retirement" from British Airways in 2001, Captain Paul Richards created the MineBurner which is a gas torch for burning out thin cased land mines. During 20 Years of research and development with a team of up to 9 personnel, Paul travelled the world to all the mined areas with his device to gain feedback from the end users.
There was a demand for a device which can destroy thick cased bombs, he created the RendSafe which can burn through 25mm of steel in 1 second.
The RendSafe prototype was successfully introduced in Afghanistan in March 2010 and used for bulk demolition arranged by the United Nations.
